Snow Plan A has been implemented in the City of Winchester as of 9:30 a.m. February 5, 2010. Snow Plan A includes the following provisions: • Use caution • Drive only when necessary with snow tires or chains (recommended) • Keep sidewalks clear of snow Public Works crews are currently treating roadways as necessary. Police Discover Marijuana Plants in Winchester
On Monday January 25, 2010 at approximately 3:00 p.m. Winchester Police were called to 1101 Orchard Avenue to assist the Winchester Fire and Rescue Department. Upon arriving at the scene, police and rescue personnel located the victim, Gregory W. Ashley (44), suffering from an apparent electrocution. It was initially reported that Ashley had been in the basement of his residence doing some type of electrical work.
